Misbaha is a version of hummus with tahini but with soft texture. It is popular in the Levant. In the Galilee it is also known as Mushawa. Like chickpeas with tahini, the rosary is eaten fresh with Arabic bread. The basis of the dish is balila, where chickpeas are cooked in water with the addition of tahini, a little cumin, chopped parsley and lemon juice.
المسبحة هي نوع من الحمص مع الطحينة ولكن ذات ملمس ناعم. وهي تحظى بشعبية في بلاد الشام. تُعرف أيضًا في الجليل بالمشوشة. مثل الحمص مع الطحينة ، تؤكل المسبحة طازجة بالخبز العربي. أساس الطبق هو البليلة ، حيث يُطهى الحمص في الماء مع إضافة الطحينة والقليل من الكمون والبقدونس المفروم وعصير الليمون.
